No One Has A Monopoly On Knowledge

On the morning of the first of this promising New Year, I listened and watched Washington Journal, the host had a guess on the show by the name of  Steve Scheffler, whose organization he headed:  Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition, just the name of the organization cause my eyes to widened and coupled with his demeanor gave me all the more reason to listen carefully to his dialog with the callers that called  in, [C-Span.org] gives anyone the opportunity to go on-line and view previously aired shows, that's technology for ya'.  In the eighties there was another highly profiled individual that touted his "Christian" belief by the name of Ralph Reed, his organization was  'Christian  Coalition' (CC), in fact, after I performed a little research, I have discovered that the very same Coalition that Mr. Scheffler heading, is linked to the Reed affiliation, talk about strange bed fellows, and it gets even stranger. Grover Norquist and Reed formed what was known as the "Abramoff-Norquist-Reed triumvirate."[in Latin, it translation:(of three men)]. At a later date, if the Lord will permit me to, I'll have more about the actions of "the three men." The package Mr. Scheffler is presenting is as corrupt as it has ever been, it is wrapped a bit differently, but it is nothing more than a cesspool of corrupt individuals that think they have the answers to lead and determine in what direction this Republic needs to go. Mr. Scheffler, said on the show of the direction the country was going, "In the wrong direction," so from his and others that share his [Scheffler's] view of the direction of the country's  path under President Obama, I can only conclude that under President George W. Bush (sic) leadership, the country was heading in a correct path. What an idiotic view to purport. If one is to believe the rhetoric of these jackals from these nefarious coalitions they will have all that follow, heading for hells door in a souped up hot rod Shelby Cobra Mustang. You miscreants does not have a monopoly on anything other than wickedness.

The absurdity of some people

There continue to be more than a little conversation about the unemployment picture as it relates to this country, as well as many thoughts on how to resolve it. Allow me to offer up some clear unadulterated thinking on the subject at hand: There will be no meaningful job growth without manufacturing of apparel, storm doors and windows, carpeting, furniture making, or any other commodity that an average person (not a university, college or technical school achiever) may find gainful employment in. There's an abundance of  hype going on in the forth-estate and other places that's putting far too much emphasis on being "retrained" or the "green jobs" environment, the truth of the matter is, even if everyone achieved a degree of some type in any number of fields, there would not be enough of those jobs to satisfy that "unemployment monster," and as far as green jobs, there will only be "X" number of jobs coming on line for those type of jobs. More than half ( I'm supposing) of this country's citizens are suited to sitting in a class room or via the Internet to learn or earn a degree of certificate or anything else that will propel them into a more lucrative arena to sustain themselves in a vibrant life style. I am not talking down the American citizen can do attitude, rather, I am merely annotating the truth as it relate to the subject at hand. In order that the average citizen have a fighting chance to emerge from this struggle of  being unemployed, those that are in leadership positions (Congressman's, Mayors and Governor's, along with whomever is sitting in the Oval Office) must see the practicality of  injecting a common sense approach to the problem and understand the scope of the problem of a  people struggling  for survival, to do less is tantamount to enabling the citizenry to commit suicide.
